Howsoever we may deny it, at the end of the day, we do need a shoulder of a parent, a trusted friend or a distant relative. The entire day goes into the hardships of being more and more independent; but towards the end, we all reveal our true character. Fortunately or unfortunately – I have no say in this anyway – we are after-all ‘social‘ animals.Β Humans need crowd, animals need herd; birds need flock, and someone to be heard.

I can write pages about the independence I crave for. While writing them if I get a little paper cut, I’ll be whining to my dad for the next few minutes. π

Hahaha.. I get the idea. I do same thing.. expect for the part that I don’t really whine it to anybody. I’m kind of an introvert, so I like to keep things to myself. π

Yes! An appropriate quote! π
I’m more familiar with another version of it, which goes like: “No man lives like an island, journeying through life alone.”

I love the post. It’s so true π Happiness doubled when shared. Shared joy is a double joy; shared sorrow is half a sorrow π
