Why Do I Care?

I sometimes wonder why do I care so much. There are people who absolutely give no shit about others and yet they are doing all fine. Of course they do. The life of an individual doesn’t depend on another. Everyone makes their own destiny. Humans create their path to success alone. Yet they are social animals. They can’t be completely alone. They need to have friends, family, someone to love, someone to trust. Also it’s a very risky job to trust someone in today’s world. There are just too many complications involved. You can never tell the true intentions of a fellow human. Trusting animals is way better.

Oh Her Malicious Heart! That Jerk.

Her heart skipped a beat,

When it wasn’t supposed to.

It skipped a beat,

When those thoughts lurched towards her.

It skipped a beat,

And she couldn’t utter a word.

It skipped a beat,

As it dawned to her, that things aren’t really as they seem to be.

It skipped a beat,

As she realized, she couldn’t trust anyone; not anymore.

It skipped a beat,

When it failed. Yet again.

It skipped a beat,

To let her know, that she had become a bit more weaker.

It skipped a beat,

To say that she couldn’t carry the hurt only by her own shoulders.

Her heart, that roguish little brat; and the untrustworthy old-soul,

if only he knew; that she was now breathless…

Your Eyes!

When I see you, I don’t merely look into those sparkly blue eyes of yours..

I look past them, I look at the deeds you’ve performed;

I look at the honesty you’ve shown;

I look at the hardships you’ve faced;

I look at the warmth in yourself;

I look at the curiosity, the knowledge that you so eagerly seek;

And then, I look at my own reflection in your eyes..

And the love you have for me!

Dogs love us unconditionally.
You may find it hard to trust people; but with dogs, you don’t even have to think twice before entrusting them with your deepest secrets!
That’s the beauty of their souls. Their love. Their unconditional love.
If you haven’t yet experienced the love of a dog, then, I must say, you still have got no idea what “TRUE” love feels like..!
It’s a feeling that can never be explained. It’s truly heavenly!! *_* ❤
